The Federal Ministry of Steel Bootcamp Training Program aims to empower selected youths with advanced expertise in three specialized areas as detailed in the accompanying form.

The Federal Ministry of Steel Development is launching a one-month boot-camp training program designed to provide technical skills and support to both existing and aspiring artisans within the metals industry.

The Ministry of Steel Development is tasked with regulating and advancing the steel and other metals sector through policies and initiatives.

The Ministry is launching a one-month boot-camp training program designed to provide technical skills and support to both existing and aspiring artisans within the metals industry.

The Federal Ministry of Steel Bootcamp Training Program aims to empower selected youths with advanced expertise in three specialized areas as detailed in the accompanying form.

Eligibility Requirements 

To be considered for the Federal Ministry of Steel Bootcamp Training Program, you must:

Welding and Fabrication

  • Must be a Nigerian and provide valid means of identification
  • Must be between 18 and 40 years old
  • May/may not have basic knowledge of welding.
  • Must have at least a secondary school-level certificate
  • Must be able to understand and communicate in English Language
  • Must submit a statement of purpose giving reasons why he/she should be selected for the program

Industrial Foundry and Metallurgy

  • Must be a Nigerian and provide valid means of identification
  • Must be between 18 and 40 years old.
  • May/may not have basic knowledge of foundry techniques.
  • Must be able to understand and communicate in English Language
  • Must submit a statement of purpose giving reasons why he/she should be selected for the program

Instrumentation & Control System and Mechanical Maintenance

  • Should be a graduate of Electrical and Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
  • Must be a Nigerian and provide valid means of identification
  • Must be between 18 and 40 years old.
  • Must be able to understand and communicate in English Language
  • Must submit a statement of purpose giving reasons why he/she should be selected for the program
