Call For Applications: General Ibrahim Attahiru Foundation Scholarship 2025 For Nigerians

In marking the 3rd anniversary of the passing of the late 21st Chief of Army Staff (COAS),
on 21st May 2024, the General Ibrahim Attahiru Foundation Scholarship Board decided to commence the second
priority area of the Foundation.

This priority area is in the provision of scholarships to
children and dependent’s of Army personnel and veterans in Nigerian
universities, starting with the 2024/25 session intake.

The GIAF Scholarship 2025 is a programme designed to encourage our youths, most of whom have abundance of potentials, whilst the opportunities are getting rarer.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be dependants of serving, retired or deceased Nigerian Army Personnel.
  • Exceptional academic performance, showcased by outstanding O-level and JAMB results, will be a key selection criterion. Applicants will be considered from all six geopolitical zones of Nigeria.
  • Inclusivity is a core principle, with gender balance as a priority.

Selection Process

  • The selection process involves a comprehensive screening and vetting procedure.
  • This program represents a remarkable opportunity to uplift ambitious students and cultivate future leaders.

Benefits

The General Ibrahim Attahiru Foundation Scholarship will cover the costs of attending Nigerian
universities.

This will scholarship programs is designed to :

  • Commitment to the Public Good. GIAF prioritizes the improvement of Nigeria as a country, and welfare of Nigerians as a people. The foundation encourage cooperation to support the most vulnerable in society, and are neither driven by personal gain nor profit.
  • Accountability: GIAF works in collaboration with our target beneficiaries and we are accountable to them in carrying out interventions. Her interventions are carried out based on the four (4) core humanitarian principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality, and independence.
  • Commitment to the Public Good. GIAF prioritizes the improvement of Nigeria as a country and the welfare of Nigerians as a people. GIAF encourages cooperation to support the most vulnerable in society and are neither driven by personal gain nor profit.
