Call For Applications: Google for Startups Accelerator: Africa 2024

This is a three-month hybrid accelerator program for Seed to Series A Black-led technology startups. The accelerator program is designed to bring the best of Google’s programs, products, people and technology to Black founder communities across South Africa.

This cohort of the Google for Startups Accelerator: Africa is specifically designed to support Black founders in South Africa. The startups are paired with relevant Google and industry experts to solve their startup’s top challenges and are provided with non-dilutive funding, insights, and best practices to improve their products and businesses.

Eligibility

  • Startups demonstrating traction, ideally between Seed and Series A stages.
  • Building a scalable product or service with a significant total addressable market and defensible growth model.
  • Deeply technical, preferably leveraging technologies like machine learning and AI.
  • Commitment from CTO and/or technical roles to participate and engage in required program sessions.
  • They are committed to building accelerator classes that are diverse and inclusive, and encourage applications from qualified startups with founders of all backgrounds.
  • This program is open to Black-led technology startups within South Africa.
