Growth 4 Zambia is an entrepreneurial support initiative that provides cash grants and expertise to small businesses and impactful ideas in Zambia. The programme aims to help entrepreneurs access capital, scale operations, create jobs, and make measurable contributions to local communities and the national economy.

Why This Grant Matters

Access to affordable capital is a major hurdle for small businesses in Zambia. Growth 4 Zambia’s grant programme bridges this gap by offering funding without equity requirements, helping founders focus on growth and impact rather than repayment burdens. Supported businesses also benefit from expertise and mentoring relevant to their stage and sector.

What You Can Get (Benefits)

💵 Up to $10,000 in Funding

Selected applicants may receive direct cash support to invest in growth activities — such as buying equipment, expanding production, piloting new services, or strengthening market access.

📈 Business Support & Expert Input

Growth 4 Zambia pairs financial backing with mentorship and guidance to help strengthen business strategy, operations, and impact potential.

🌍 Impact-Driven Focus

Funding prioritises businesses that contribute to local supply chains, boost job creation, have export potential, or demonstrate positive environmental outcomes.

Who Can Apply (Eligibility)

Growth 4 Zambia targets Zambian businesses and entrepreneurs whose ventures align with its mission to advance economic and social progress. Ideal applications include:

  • Businesses that integrate local sourcing and strengthen supply chains.
  • Enterprises with export potential within 18–24 months.
  • Ventures in strategic sectors like agriculture, food production, tourism, and other growth areas.
  • Companies that can create employment and demonstrate measurable social or environmental impact.

There are no strict revenue requirements, but having a clear business model and impact story increases your chances of success.

Deadline & Timeline

📅 Application Deadline: 31 January 2026 — ensure you submit before this date to be considered for the 2026 cohort.

After submission, the Growth 4 Zambia team reviews applications and informs applicants of decisions, typically with updates by end of March 2026.

How to Apply (Step-by-Step)

  1. Visit the official Growth 4 Zambia website: go to Growth4Zambia.org.
  2. Select “Apply for funding.” This opens the grant application form.
  3. Fill in your business details: Include your business name, contact info, and a clear description of your idea or operations.
  4. Outline your impact: Explain how your venture benefits the economy, environment, job market, and supply chains.
  5. Describe intended use of funds: List key activities you will fund if selected.
  6. Submit before deadline: Finalise and send your application by 31 January 2026.

There is no cost to apply and no equity requirement attached to the funding.
