Applications are officially open for the 2026 LVMH Prize, one of the most prestigious global awards celebrating emerging fashion designers. Launched in 2013, the LVMH Prize supports the next generation of creative talent through funding, mentorship and international visibility.
What the Program Offers
The 2026 edition features four major award categories.
LVMH Prize
This top award provides a 400,000 euro endowment and a one year mentorship from LVMH experts. The mentorship covers sustainability, communication, legal and copyright guidance, marketing strategy and financial planning.
Karl Lagerfeld Prize
Introduced in 2022 in honour of Karl Lagerfeld, this prize awards 200,000 euros and one year of personalised mentorship.
Savoir Faire Prize
Launched in 2024, this prize recognises excellence in craftsmanship, technical innovation and sustainable production. The winner receives 200,000 euros and a full year of mentorship with LVMH specialists.
LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Graduates
Three fashion school graduates will each receive 10,000 euros. Their schools will also receive the same amount. The selected graduates will join the design studio of one of the LVMH Houses for a one year professional placement.
Eligibility
Applicants must be emerging designers with strong creative vision. Designers must have produced at least two collections and must be engaged in building an original fashion label.
Application Timeline
Selection: Twenty semi finalists will be chosen from the online applications.
Semi final: Fashion experts will review the semi finalists and select the finalists.
Final: The jury will announce the winners at the end of the evaluation stage.
