The KNUST Mastercard Foundation Scholarship offers a comprehensive package that includes full tuition, accommodation, travel, books, a laptop, and a postgraduate internship for selected candidates.
The Program provides an array of services including mentorship, ethical leadership seminars, skills training, etc. that will lead to the scholar’s academic success, community engagement, and transition to employment opportunities which will equip the scholar to be a global citizen.

The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Ghana is a partnership between KNUST and the Mastercard Foundation, headquartered in Toronto Canada.
The scholarship seeks to train altogether 2,250 scholars over an aggregated 15-year period 750 Scholars in Phase I – 2014-2019 and 1,500 Scholars in Phase II – 2019-2029) to contribute significantly to societal change and the transformation of Africa.
