Nasarawa and Niger States have officially opened applications for the NINATECH Smart Skills Development Program, a transformative initiative aimed at equipping 10,000 youths with cutting-edge digital skills to prepare them for the evolving job market.
The program, a collaborative effort between the two states, seeks to empower participants with in-demand tech expertise, fostering innovation and employment opportunities in the North Central region.
Program Overview
At the launch event, government officials emphasized that NINATECH is more than just a training program—it is a strategic partnership designed to boost job creation, enhance digital innovation, and develop a cyber-resilient workforce capable of thriving in the digital economy.

Participants will receive hands-on training in high-demand fields, including:
Cybersecurity
Digital Forensics
Digital Entrepreneurship
Data Science
Eligibility Criteria
Interested applicants must meet the following requirements:
Be an indigene of Nasarawa or Niger State
Possess a minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification
Have basic computer literacy
Provide a valid means of identification (National ID, Voter’s Card, etc.)
Have access to a computer or laptop (recommended)
Maintain a stable internet connection (for online training components)
Demonstrate commitment to complete the 4-week program
Be willing to participate in practical sessions
