Call for Applications: Orange Corners Ghana Business Accelerator Program

The Orange Corners acceleration program in Ghana is an initiative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, implemented by GrowthAfrica, Africa’s foremost business accelerator in partnership with Fidelity Bank, Emergent Payments, Friesland Campina, Vivo Energy Ghana, Meridian Port Services (MPS), Koudijs, Peoples Pension Trust and Cargill.

The Orange Corners Ghana initiative spans a 6-month acceleration program comprising five 3-day workshops spaced four weeks apart. It also involves post-acceleration in-business visits over 9-12 months to facilitate the development and execution of growth plans, along with masterclasses and personalized coaching sessions. Additionally, the Orange Corners program facilitates connections between innovative entrepreneurs and the private sector, providing avenues for accessing finance, notably through the Orange Corners Innovation Fund.

Benefits

  • Successful applicants to the acceleration program will benefit from a 6-month acceleration process and up to 12 months of post-acceleration catalytic support with an assigned growth catalysts.
  • Participants will have an opportunity to access funding from the Orange Corners Innovation Fund and other sources of funding from partners and benefit from facilitated networking, mentorship and coaching sessions from industry professionals.

Orange Corners Ghana Business Accelerator Program 2024 Timeline

The Orange Corners program hosts 2 cohorts annually. In 2024, will be recruiting Cohorts 9 and 10. Key dates for cohort 9 are below:

  • Application period: March 22, 2024 – April 28, 2024 
  • Shortlisting and selection: April 2024 to May 2024  
  • Contracting and onboarding: June 2024  
  • Cohort 9 officially commences: on July 10, 2024

There will be 5 workshops spaced 4 weeks apart and a Gazelle Investment Forum. Please see the dates below:

  • Workshop 1: July 10, 2024 – July 12, 2024
  • Workshop 2: August 7, 2024 – August 9, 2024
  • Workshop 3: September 4, 2024 – September 6, 2024
  • Workshop 4:  October 2, 2024 – October 4, 2024
  • Workshop 5: October 29, 2024 – November 1, 2024
  • Gazelle Forum: November 28, 2024.
