Call For Applications: SieDi-Hub Youth Education Scholarship 2025 for Nigerians (Up to N250,000 Annually, Mentorship, Internship Placement )

The SieDi-Hub Opportunity Youth Educational Scholarship is now open for applications! This fully funded award provides up to ₦250,000 per year to support tuition, compulsory fees, and books for young Nigerian undergraduates.

Launched by the Innovation Hub for Inclusiveness, Empowerment, and Social Development (SieDi-Hub), the program is designed to empower students from low-income and vulnerable backgrounds, helping them complete their education and become future leaders in their communities.

The SieDi-Hub Opportunity Youth Educational Scholarship is a need-based, full-ride program aimed at students who:

Have just gained admission or are in their first year at a recognized Nigerian tertiary institution

Face serious financial hardship or personal challenges (e.g., loss of a parent, displacement, family crisis)

More than financial support, this scholarship provides:

Leadership training

Mentorship opportunities

Volunteer and work experience

Every year, two students (one male and one female) are selected and awarded up to ₦250,000 annually, renewable throughout their studies (subject to performance).

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

Be Nigerian citizens aged 17–25 years

Have just gained admission or be in their first year at an accredited Nigerian tertiary institution

Demonstrate significant financial need or life-altering challenges

Commit to volunteering and giving back to their communities

Expectations of Recipients:

Maintain good academic standing and submit progress reports

Complete their studies within the expected timeframe

Volunteer with SieDi-Hub during semesters and holidays

Participate in community outreach and mentoring programs

Required Documents

Applicants must submit the following:

Completed application form

Personal statement (1–2 pages, 1000–1500 words)

Admission letter or proof of first-year enrollment

Academic records (WAEC, UTME results, etc.)

Two references (teachers, mentors, or community leaders)

Proof of hardship (e.g., death certificate, medical report, displacement record)

Benefits

The SieDi-Hub Scholarship covers:

Tuition and compulsory school fees (up to ₦250,000 annually)

Book support for each academic year

Mentorship, career coaching, and leadership development

Volunteer and internship placements with SieDi-Hub projects

How to Apply

Interested and qualified candidates should:

Prepare all required documents.

Submit applications by email to [email protected] (cc: [email protected]).

Shortlisted candidates may be invited for a virtual interview.

Successful applicants will be notified and awarded by September 15, 2025.
