TotalEnergies Launches Startupper of the Year Challenge in Nigeria and other African Countries, With N8 Million Prize For Each Winner, Apply

The Startupper of the Year Challenge by TotalEnergies is back in 32 African countries for a special edition celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Company!

The aim of this 4th edition is to support and encourage young African entrepreneurs to innovate and bring their projects to reality in their country of application.

Are you owning a startup less than 3 years old or pioneering with a business idea to develop? If so, the challenge is for you!

Requirements

  • All business creation project holders and owners of startups under 3 years old with a positive impact on their communities and/or the planet can participate!
  • You must be between 18 and 35 years old (born between May 1, 1988 and April 30, 2006)
  • You must be a resident of the country where you apply
  • You must have:
  • A STARTUP
  • Under 3 years old with registration in the application country no earlier than April 30, 2020, OR
  • A BUSINESS IDEA
  • Which could be developed a few months after the challenge

Become one of the 100 Startuppers of the year by TotalEnergies, rewarded among one of our categories.

Innov’Up

  • 1 Winner per category will be rewarded in each participating country
  • 4 additional Winners will be selected by an international jury in the Power’Up category

To reward the best entrepreneurs, should they own a startup of less than three years or come with a mature business idea.

Cycl’Up

To reward startup or business ideas exemplifying the principle of circular economy.

Power’Up

To reward startups or business ideas that aim to promote, create, produce or use sustainable and affordable energies.

Benefits

Winners of the Challenge will earn the opportunity to access the following:

  • Financial support to develop your startup or business idea.
  • Media visibility to promote your business.
  • Coaching to support the winner in a personalized way.

100 Startuppers Event to connect with key players at an entrepreneurial event.
