Welcome to Value4Her, an initiative by AGRA and AMI designed to empower women agripreneurs across Africa.

This program seeks to improve the business landscape for women-led agribusinesses in Ethiopia, Nigeria, Kenya, and Uganda by connecting them with gender-focused partners and service providers tailored to their unique needs.

The AMI-AGRA-Value4Her partnership is focused on transforming African agriculture by empowering women. AMI (African Management Institute) brings its expertise in capacity-building for small and medium-sized enterprises, while AGRA focuses on creating pathways to financial access and market growth for African agripreneurs.

Together, through the Value4Her initiative, we are working to empower 8,000 women-led agribusinesses across Africa, creating opportunities for growth, innovation, and job creation.

AMI enables ambitious businesses across Africa to thrive, through practical tools and training. We equip entrepreneurs with tools to build their business, help companies train their teams, and run work readiness programmes for young people starting their careers. AMI’s programmes combine online and mobile tools with in-person workshops and on-the-job practice and support.

Since 2014, AMI has directly trained over 45,000 people in 39 countries across Africa.

AMI has a presence in 9 countries, with offices in Kenya, Rwanda, Senegal, Uganda and South Africa, and staff presence in  Ethiopia, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana and Nigeria.

Programme Focus

  • Access to tailored learning opportunities for growth and sustainability.
  • Connection to a robust network of business support services, financial institutions, and technology partners.
  • Personalized business growth pathways designed specifically for each segment of women entrepreneurs based on their needs and business goals.
