About The Summit

Nigeria Innovation Summit in its 8th year is an annual event that brings together stakeholders from different sectors of Nigeria’s economy to share ideas, trends, and opportunities around technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship development in Nigeria.

Through previous editions in the past 8 years, the Nigeria Innovation Summit (NIS) has attracted over 8,000 delegates, 180 speakers and panelists, 100 tertiary institutions and research centers, 30 government ministries and agencies, delegates from 30 states of the federation, over 120 sponsors and partners, 35 countries in attendance, over 80 innovation awards recipients, and scores of media coverage and stories.

NIS helps Nigeria embrace innovation and move in the direction of digital transformation through the use of emerging technologies and trends, R&D (Research and Development), commercialization, entrepreneurship, and investments as the key drivers of an innovation ecosystem. This platform creates awareness of the need for Open Innovation in Nigeria and challenges Nigeria to leverage innovation to become more competitive in the global economy.

The Nigeria Innovation Summit is an initiative led by InnovationHub Africa & Resources Limited, Emerging Media Nigeria, and Emerging Media and Advertising Services, New York. We partner with the world’s leading innovation providers from the academic community, government, and industry in order to connect Nigerian businesses and innovators to global innovation ecosystems.

The key features of the Nigeria Innovation Summit are the Keynote Presentations Panel Discussions, Startup Presentations, NiX Talks (Expert Insights On Emerging Technologies), Innovation Showcases, and Innovation Tours.

The Nigeria Innovation Awards is another feature of the Summit, which recognizes and promotes States, Ministries, Companies, Organisations, Institutions, Startups, and Innovators that have embraced innovation to move Nigeria forward.
