Share

In a significant move, De Lorenzo SpA, a prominent Italian company specializing in technical and vocational training equipment for Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and more, has generously donated one thousand (1000) purpose-designed E-Learning Solutions to the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).

Luciano Prosperi, President of De Lorenzo SpA, formally attested to the donation, emphasizing the company’s commitment to fostering skill development in areas crucial to the 21st-century workforce. NITDA’s Head of Corporate Affairs and External Relations, Hadiza Umar, highlighted the agency’s belief that this donation aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s efforts to enhance technical and vocational skills, ultimately creating job opportunities for the youth.

The E-Learning Solutions cover a comprehensive mix of educational tools for fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Machine Automation, Process Control, and Factory Automation. The collaboration extends beyond the donation, with De Lorenzo expressing readiness to actively participate in developing skills essential for the modern workforce.

NITDA, a key player in advancing information technology and digital literacy in Nigeria, welcomed this substantial contribution, recognizing its transformative impact on shaping education and empowering youth with relevant skills for the future. The agency highlighted that innovation hubs, learning centers, technology development zones, and higher institutions will strategically leverage the donated solutions to enhance engagement, promote active learning, and visualize abstract concepts.

This strategic alliance signifies a shared commitment to fostering innovation, empowering youth, and contributing to the socio-economic development of Nigeria. The donation from De Lorenzo SpA is poised to make a lasting impact on countless individuals’ educational and professional journeys, creating a ripple effect across various sectors.
