The Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ECCIMA) has assured participants and shoppers of reduced prices and high-quality products at the upcoming Enugu International Trade Fair. ECCIMA’s Director-General, Uche Mba, gave the assurance during an interview on Thursday in Enugu.
Mba emphasized that exhibitors are committed to offering the best products and services, alongside price reductions, to create a seamless platform for manufacturers, service providers, and the public. “Exhibitors have agreed to reduce prices and to bring the best quality of products and services to the fair,” Mba said, highlighting the chamber’s dedication to facilitating business and commerce.
The 10-day event, set to start on Friday, will feature companies from countries such as China, India, Tunisia, and others, further enhancing its international scope. Mba also mentioned that the chamber’s role is to foster trade and create conducive spaces for businesses to thrive.
In addition to the focus on business, Mba assured that the necessary security arrangements are in place for the event, with collaboration from the police and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to ensure safety. “Exhibitors and participants are assured of adequate security,” he noted, emphasizing that the trade fair has a strong track record of security, without any incidents since its inception.
Further addressing logistical concerns, Mba confirmed that there will be a stable electricity supply throughout the duration of the fair, thanks to arrangements made to ensure uninterrupted service.
The Enugu International Trade Fair is set to be a key event for fostering trade and promoting international business relationships while offering high-quality products at affordable prices.
