Experts to discuss Agricultural Financing and Insurance Opportunities

Experts in the Agriculture, Finance and Insurance Sectors will be discussing Agricultural Financing and Insurance Opportunities for Youth and Women Development in Africa during a webinar organized by Informa Consulting, Contact Consulting ad Agra Innovate West Africa on Thursday, 30 July from 2:00 – 3:30 PM Nigeria local time (GMT+1).

During the session, our panellists will share knowledge on agriculture finance strategies to enhance agricultural productivity and income in West Africa.

This webinar will help participants to:

  • Develop and implement agriculture finance strategies and insurance instruments to crowd-in private sector
  • Enhance knowledge on access to suitable financial services to farmers and agricultural SMEs to increase agricultural productivity and income
  • Facilitate the consolidation / integration of production and marketing entities in agriculture to achieve economies of scale and stronger presence in markets

Webinar speakers include Nkiru Okpareke, Chair, IITA Business Innovation Platform and Co Founder, Envirogro Farms, Kudzayi Hove, Chairman of the Board, Cabeolica SA and CEO of Amayi Foods Ltd, Dele Babade, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of AfriCapital Managing Director of Greenwich Trust Limited, Folakemi Fatogbe, Director of Risk Management at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Kudzai Gumunyu​, Divisional Head – Agric Business, First City Monument Bank (FCMB) Nigeria .
