Share

The FATE School of FATE Foundation has announced the winners of the Mitsubishi Corporation sponsored aspiring entrepreneurs programme — Sustainability (AEP Sustainability) Business Pitch.

The organisation said the winners were selected after a 12-week hybrid programme with 30 Startups within the sustainability space. It said the programme provided the startups with relevant knowledge, tools, and skills to grow viable businesses.

It added that the hybrid format allowed the full exploration of the curriculum that was focused on sustainability model pivot, sector enablement, and financial literacy in a way that was both practical/experiential and informative to sustain innovative business ideas, generate revenue, and create jobs.

It stated that the sectors represented were renewable energy, circular economy, climate change, green economy, and sustainable development.

According to the organisation, the three winners are Chief Executive Officer, Oke Partners, Bolajoko Ireoluwa, (1st Position – N750,000); CEO, Event Mantis Limited, Rowland Oluwafolakemi, (2nd Position – N500,000) and CEO, Designed Spaces by Yemi, Olayiwola Omoyemi, (3rd Position – N250,000).

In a statement, the Executive Director of FATE Foundation, Mrs Adenike Adeyemi, said, “We are committed to enabling businesses across Nigeria and the AEP Sustainability has allowed us to provide training, and advisory support and connection within the ecosystem to entrepreneurs that have created impact in the sustainability value chain.”
