INBRID Global has reiterated its commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s business landscape through the 2025 Abeokuta Business Summit, an event that gathered founders, professionals, ecosystem leaders, volunteers, and young innovators in Abeokuta, Ogun State, all united by the goal of building resilient, future-ready enterprises.
The summit aligned with INBRID’s mandate to support business development using research-driven programmes and structured guidance. Discussions throughout the sessions focused on persistent challenges faced by micro, small, and medium enterprises, particularly limited access to finance, rising operational expenses, and weaknesses in business systems. More than 15 businesses benefited from practical workshops and technical sessions designed to refine business processes, streamline operations, and position entrepreneurs for scale.
A major highlight of the event was the announcement of the beneficiaries of the INBRID Grant Programme. The finalists had earlier undergone training on business modelling, documentation and investor readiness, preparing them for external funding opportunities. With the unveiling of the winners, the organisation emphasised that the grant is part of a broader long-term effort to expand early-stage financing channels for small businesses in Ogun State and beyond.
The summit reinforces the ongoing push to empower MSMEs with knowledge, tools, and funding support that can stimulate growth, encourage innovation, and strengthen Nigeria’s enterprise ecosystem.
