Globacom's "Powering Ambition" Strategy Aims to Boost SMEs and Digital Connectivity
Share

Globacom, a leading West African digital solutions provider, unveiled a groundbreaking communication strategy called “Powering Ambition.” This innovative move aims to bolster digital connectivity, especially for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and corporate players, through its submarine fiber optic infrastructure across the region.

At a recent event in Lagos marking its 20th anniversary, Globacom’s Executive Vice Chairman, Bella Disu, thanked subscribers, partners, and stakeholders for their invaluable contributions. She underscored how their support had been pivotal to the company’s success over two decades.

The launch of the “Powering Ambition” campaign was the highlight of the event. It signals Globacom’s dedication to providing comprehensive resources and services to help individuals and companies achieve their ambitious goals, both personally and professionally.

Disu expressed gratitude for the company’s growth, attributing much of its success to visionary leadership and a commitment to innovation. She highlighted the transformational pace of digital evolution since Globacom’s inception in 2003.

The company’s focus on SME empowerment isn’t new. In 2015, Globacom entered a partnership with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) to empower 17 million SMEs in the country. This collaboration aimed to offer grants, soft loans, and capacity-building programs to SME members, equipping them with global best practices for business growth.

Stakeholders commended Globacom’s consistent efforts to support SMEs, emphasizing the company’s commitment to addressing their challenges. Disu reaffirmed the company’s investment in cutting-edge technologies to enhance services and foster business growth.

Globacom’s “Powering Ambition” campaign underlines its readiness to navigate the evolving digital landscape and drive the success of SMEs, building on its history of empowering businesses and individuals in Nigeria and across West Africa.
