Greenwich Registrars & Data Solutions, one of Nigeria’s leading firms in securities and shareholding management, has reaffirmed its commitment to digital transformation with the launch of a new innovation suite designed to enhance shareholder experience and strengthen transparency in the capital market.
The announcement was made during a hybrid webinar themed “Shareholding in the Digital Era: Building Trust Through Innovation,” where the company unveiled a suite of digital platforms aimed at simplifying shareholder engagement and improving access to essential services.
Speaking at the event, Managing Director of Greenwich Registrars, Obiageli Chiki-Ijegbulem, said the company’s innovations are rooted in trust, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards.
“These values have guided the creation of our new products, G-Ease, E-Forms, E-Offers, and Probate Portals which were developed in line with the frameworks of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC),” she stated.
Chiki-Ijegbulem explained that the firm’s digital innovation drive is centered on building long-term value for clients through responsible transformation. “We are building systems that not only make processes easier but also reinforce transparency and accountability in shareholder relations,” she added.
Commending the company’s digital strides, Executive Commissioner (Operations) of the SEC, Bola Ajomale, described the innovation as “timely and forward-looking.” He said, “The future is digital, and it will affect the entire market, investors, companies, and issuers alike. As regulators, we are committed to supporting such advancements while ensuring stronger oversight and data protection.”
Ajomale also revealed that the SEC plans to transition to a T+2 settlement cycle by November 28, 2025, urging registrars to align with this through seamless digital integration.
Highlighting the company’s new features, Divisional Head of Operations, Ekene Obiokala, noted that the G-Ease platform enables shareholders to view dividend payments, track their shareholdings, and monitor capital market activities in real time. She added that the E-Forms tool allows shareholders to update personal details such as bank accounts and contact information with ease.
Similarly, Head of Business Development Anne Mutuah, said the firm’s new Probate Asset Portal has simplified inheritance and estate management processes. “Beneficiaries can now register and monitor transmission progress in real time without the stress of manual paperwork,” she explained.
Through these innovations, Greenwich Registrars continues to position itself as a digital leader in the Nigerian capital market, empowering shareholders, simplifying compliance, and redefining engagement for the modern era.
