Grooming Endowment Trust Opens N13 Million Grant Program for Nigerian Startups and Entrepreneurs
Share

The Grooming Endowment Trust Grant Programme (GETGP) has opened applications for its 2025 funding cycle, offering ₦13 million to support Nigerian startups and entrepreneurs.

Running from August to October 2025, the program is designed to equip business owners with funding, entrepreneurial skills, and strategic guidance to help them scale and compete effectively in Nigeria’s dynamic business environment.

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Operate a business registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) for at least three years
  • Commit to attending a two-week workshop in Lagos

For the 2025 edition (GET 4.0), the top five startups will each receive ₦2 million, while 10 others will be awarded ₦300,000 consolation prizes after a competitive pitching session.

Since launching in 2022, GETGP has awarded over ₦38 million to 45 businesses, a figure projected to exceed ₦50 million and 60 winners by the end of this year.

The selection panel has stressed that creativity, originality, and proven entrepreneurial experience will be decisive factors in choosing the winners.

The initiative is part of GET’s broader commitment to fostering sustainable business growth, strengthening Nigeria’s MSME ecosystem, and encouraging innovation among young and emerging entrepreneurs.
