The Global Women Network Foundation (GWNF) has partnered with Manjoorans Global Recruitment and Training Pvt. to launch a new initiative that will connect qualified Nigerian nurses to job opportunities in Germany and other EU countries.
The partnership, sealed through a Memorandum of Understanding over the weekend, marks a major effort to support skilled Nigerian nurses seeking stable and well-paying international careers.
GWNF, established by a network of professional and business women across various sectors, focuses on empowering African women by creating access to economic opportunities, capacity development, and financial independence.
According to the CEO of GWNF, Roni Akins, the organization leverages its networks to identify meaningful career and business opportunities for women, while also providing training, capacity-building, and other forms of support.
Akins explained that through the partnership with Manjoorans Global Recruitment and Training Pvt., the foundation will help source and refer eligible nursing candidates for recruitment in Germany. She added that a virtual awareness seminar will be held on December 5 via Zoom to help interested nurses understand the process and interact directly with program facilitators.
She said the seminar is designed to give candidates clear guidance, enabling them to make informed decisions and move towards possible recruitment.
To qualify for the program, applicants must be nurses with a GNM or BSc qualification and have at least two years of experience. Benefits include free German language training, a free air ticket, zero processing cost, a monthly salary ranging from €2,500 to €3,000, and eligibility for permanent residency after three years.
GWNF encouraged eligible Nigerian nurses to take advantage of the opportunity to advance their careers in Europe.
