The Lagos State Ministry of Wealth Creation has reaffirmed its commitment to enterprise development through a working visit by its Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Lolade Aina, to the newly commissioned Senator Oluremi Tinubu Industrial Leather Hub in Matori. The state-of-the-art facility, established to empower small and medium-scale leather producers, provides artisans with access to modern equipment, shared workspaces, and specialized training to enhance productivity and product quality. Mrs. Aina described the hub as a strategic driver of job creation and a catalyst for MSME growth within the leather value chain. She emphasized that initiatives like the Leather Hub align with the state’s broader vision of strengthening local manufacturing, boosting economic inclusion, and promoting sustainable livelihoods across sectors. Touted as the first of its kind in Africa, the Senator Oluremi Tinubu Industrial Leather Hub positions Lagos as a competitive center for leather production, opening new opportunities for small businesses in fashion, footwear, and leather goods. The project underscores Lagos State’s ongoing efforts to expand access to enterprise support infrastructure and foster innovation among local manufacturers
