Livestock247 Services is set to host Developer Connect 2024 to promote technological innovation and collaboration within Nigeria’s growing livestock sector. The event will offer developers, programmers, tech entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts access to Livestock247’s platform, empowering them to leverage opportunities presented by the newly formed Ministry of Livestock Development.

The initiative highlights the importance of technology in enhancing efficiency, sustainability, and economic growth in the sector. The event will showcase tools, APIs, and resources that developers can use to tackle issues like disease management, supply chain challenges, and livestock traceability.

“Developer Connect 2024 is our way of extending a hand to Nigeria’s vibrant tech ecosystem. We aim to foster partnerships that create lasting impacts in the livestock sector,” said Dauda Wulgo, co-founder and CTO of Livestock247.

Wulgo emphasized how technology can bridge gaps in the traditional livestock market, citing innovations such as predictive analytics, IoT devices, and AI for real-time monitoring. He stressed that data-driven insights are essential for transforming the livestock value chain, with Livestock247 committed to making these tools accessible to all stakeholders.

Scheduled for December 6, 2024, at the Cedar Centre in Yaba, Lagos, the four-hour event invites tech entrepreneurs and developers to contribute to shaping the future of Nigeria’s livestock industry. With a focus on collaboration, the event will explore how public-private partnerships and technological integration can boost productivity, food security, and economic opportunities.

“This new ministry opens doors for innovation and growth, and Developer Connect 2024 is perfectly timed to help us seize this opportunity,” said Wulgo.

As the sector becomes increasingly pivotal to Nigeria’s economy, Livestock247 aims to lead in livestock technology, driving sustainable practices and impactful change. Early registration is encouraged, and more details are available on Livestock247’s official channels.
