NASSI rolls out funding opportunities for MSMEs across the 36 states in Nigeria

The grant competition is sponsored by SME Scale-Up and Seven-up bottling company

The Nigerian Association of Small-Scale Industrialist(NASSI) rolls out funding opportunities for small and medium scale enterprises across the 36 states in Nigeria.

The grant competition sponsored by the SME Scale-Up and Seven-up bottling company aims to support Small and Medium Sized Enterprises(SMEs) in Agro-processing, Manufacturing, Services, Technology, Education, Fashion and creative businesses.

The Director General of NASSI; Engr. Ifeanyi Oputa said during a press briefing that this business grant will foster growth, innovation and small businesses will gain the opportunity to invest in new technologies, products, or services that can enhance their competitiveness and market position. This financial boost enables businesses to be better structured to explore new markets, and implement innovative strategies that can drive long-term growth.

Securing financial resources can often be a pivotal factor in propelling small and medium-sized enterprises towards exponential growth. One potent tool that entrepreneurs should not overlook is the power of grants and due diligence to track existence to unlock their full potential and thrive in competitive markets.

Engr. Oputa further stated that this opportunity will enhance SMEs’ access to markets, promote job creation, economic development, and community impact, incentivizing businesses to contribute positively to society while expanding their reach and influence beyond Nigeria.

The Southwest Coordinating Secretary: Mrs. Bukola Baruwa, said during the press briefing that these grants offer a unique opportunity for SME growth, allowing them to access much-needed capital without the burden of repayment or equity dilution. This is a significant advantage for businesses, as it reduces the burden of debt and allows them to allocate their financial resources towards other critical areas of operation areas to achieving their business goals.

Southwest Coordinating Chairman: Mr. Oluwaseun Akadiri said one of the most significant advantages of grants is their ability to fuel innovation and by providing this international funding platforms for SMEs in Nigeria through our partners, SMEs will explore new ideas, develop groundbreaking products and services, and stay ahead of the curve in rapidly evolving their businesses as it fosters long-term sustainability.

By harnessing this funding programmes effectively, entrepreneurs can fuel innovation, expand market presence, foster collaboration, and ultimately drive sustainable growth and success for their businesses.
