NPO unveils N12.5M Grant Programme to assist Nigerian SMEs
Share

A Non-profit organization, Grooming Endowment Trust, has called for applications from business startups to access its Grooming Endowment Trust Grant Programme (GETGP) fund for growth.

The GETGP is a project that concentrates on enabling Nigerian start-ups and their developers.

The organization claims that it aims to provide startups with both financial aid and the necessary skills to help them grow and succeed in the nation’s business environment.

Adaobi Okafor, Chairperson of the Grooming Endowment Trust, discussed the funding and stated that the program would be focused on creative firms in fields including health, education, humanitarian relief, social entrepreneurship, enterprise development, and community building.

According to the organization’s spokesman, Ayotunde Hassan, the grant is intended to help small enterprises who require loans grow up financially and enhance business procedures.

He claims that the grant called “Get Compass” will give N2 million to each of the top five companies, and N250,000 to each of the ten runner-ups.

Interested business owners must be above 18 years old, have a business that has been operating for about a year, and be able to demonstrate initiative and potential business continuity in order to be eligible for the program. They must be small-scaled businesses that can demonstrate a need for investment.
