Nigerian Superstore empowers Young Entrepreneurs with over N3 million

Justrite Superstore has rewarded three young entrepreneurs with over N3 million.

The Nigeria’s fast-growing supermarket encouraged the youth-led businesses during its inaugural edition of  Lodestar Business Summit held at the  Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, Ogun State..

Dr. Ayodele Aderinwale, CEO of Justrite, emphasized the value of entrepreneurship in growing the economy of the nation.

Aderinwale said, “There is a new liberation in town; it’s only the private sectors that can create wealth.”

The winner of the competition, Ebele Ajaba was awarded N1.4m.

Ajaba, who is a food safety professional and co-founder of Mebic Organic integrated limited expressed her happiness,  adding that the fund would further boost her business.

She said, “I feel so happy. I feel overwhelmed with joy. The fact that Lodestar Business has come up with this great opportunity for young entrepreneurs like us to leverage this platform to grow. It’s a huge encouragement. I believe what we are doing at Mebic is a solution to the society.”

Also, the 1st runner up, Oluwabusolami Ogunbona, creative director at RHOE, was awarded the sum of N1m.

Oluwabusolami said her dream is to make her fashion brand grow across Africa.

She said, “We also aimed to be one of the leading manufacturers of affordable fashion product in Nigeria and in Africa.”

Chibuzo urged young entrepreneurs to be determined in scaling their businesses.
