NiRA Unveils Partnership with ISN Hubs to Empower MSMEs and Startups Nationwide
Share

In a momentous stride towards fortifying the landscape of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and startups across Nigeria, the Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA) orchestrated a pivotal rendezvous, forging a dynamic alliance with the Innovation Support Network (ISN) Hubs.

This monumental confluence witnessed the presence of distinguished delegates from both entities, including Ms. Moyinsola Joseph, the astute Secretary of ISN Hub; Ms. Hope Ukaegbu, the proficient Communication Lead at ISN Hubs; Mrs. Chioma Jeke, the Head of Business Development at NiRA; Mr. Olusegun Akinwunmi, the virtuoso Webmaster at NiRA; and Ms. Toni Peter, the Social Media and Content Officer at NiRA.

At the heart of this summit was an unequivocal commitment to amplify the digital prowess of the MSMEs and startups affiliated with the extensive ISN Hubs network.

With an expansive footprint spanning over 150+ hubs nationwide, ISN Hubs has burgeoned into an indispensable ecosystem for aspiring entrepreneurs, offering a multifaceted array of essential services. These encompass capacity augmentation, vital funding support, and meticulously tailored training regimens.

Notably, NiRA’s unwavering dedication to propelling digital progress took center stage during the deliberations. The association’s resolute advocacy for the ubiquitous adoption of the .ng domain underscores its recognition of the pivotal role this domain plays in propelling Nigeria’s digital economy forward.

The prospective symbiosis between NiRA and ISN Hubs holds the promise of profound transformative influence. This collective endeavor will enable a comprehensive enlightenment campaign among MSME proprietors, elucidating how harnessing the potential of the .ng domain can catapult them toward an expansive and more engaged online audience.

Within the immersive session, a myriad of avenues for harnessing the .ng domain was unveiled. These encompassed domain redirection strategies tailored for startups with preexisting websites and the exploration of distinct second-level domain strings, including .sch.ng and .name.ng.

Furthermore, MSMEs were invigorated to embark on the journey of crafting bespoke domain names, a trajectory that empowers them to personalize their online presence and augment their brand’s distinctive identity.
