In a bid to alleviate the impact of the recent fuel subsidy removal, the Ondo State government has announced a comprehensive set of initiatives aimed at supporting students, public servants, vulnerable individuals, pensioners, farmers, and small and medium enterprises (SMEs). These measures, spanning various sectors, are designed to cushion the effect of the subsidy removal while fostering economic resilience and providing immediate relief to the citizens.

Subsidized farm inputs, agrochemicals, seeds, and farm tools will be provided to farmers. Poultry and fish farmers will receive free drugs, maize, feeds, and training on local feed formulation.
Transportation Solutions: In addition to the existing buses, the state will purchase CNG buses to facilitate cost-free transportation for public servants. Tricycles will be provided to farming communities to ease the movement of farm produce.
