Petralon Energy Limited has launched its Future Leaders Programme (FLP) to nurture emerging talent in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), marking a key milestone in the company’s mission to support educational excellence and sustainable development in Africa’s energy sector. The program was inaugurated in conjunction with the company’s 10th anniversary.
The FLP aims to develop local talents in the energy sector, particularly in engineering and geology. It will offer comprehensive financial support to selected students through graduation, along with valuable internship opportunities that provide hands-on, industry-relevant experience.
Promising students have been chosen from six of Nigeria’s top universities: the University of Port Harcourt, Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, University of Benin, University of Uyo, University of Ibadan, and Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
Adeola Akinrinmade, Chief Financial Officer of Petralon, stated, “The Future Leaders Programme embodies Petralon’s unwavering commitment to talent development and sustainable growth. By investing in education and providing practical experience, we’re cultivating the next generation of visionaries who will revolutionize Nigeria’s energy landscape.”
