Tips to make your Application Strong
Here are actionable suggestions to stand out:
- Be precise with your business stage
Whether you’re at idea, startup, or established stage, make that clear. Tailor your plan and expectations to your current phase. - Craft a strong, succinct business plan
Use charts and headlines. A 10-page business plan is your chance to show vision, strategy, market, revenue model, risks, and scaling path. - Make a compelling pitch video
In 2–3 minutes, show the problem you solve, your product or service, why now, and why you. Be authentic and confident. - Demonstrate community impact
Grantors like RAHVAI are often interested in how business benefits local communities. Show how yours does or will. - Outline sustainability beyond the grant
Don’t just ask for money—show how you’ll grow, get revenue, and survive after the grant ends. - Seek feedback
Before submitting, have someone with business, grant, or proposal experience review and critique your application. - Check your documents & tech
Ensure your uploads are in correct format, video plays, and ID scans are legible.
