Entrepreneurs across Nigeria now have the chance to compete for ₦500,000 in grants and other exciting rewards through the Save2Grow Challenge, a financial empowerment initiative introduced ahead of the 2025 National MSME Conference in Lagos.

The challenge, launched in partnership with Herconomy, seeks to promote financial discipline, encourage consistent saving habits, and empower business owners to build stronger, more sustainable enterprises. By saving as little as ₦1,000 monthly through the Herconomy App, entrepreneurs can qualify to win cash grants, stock investments, and other valuable prizes. Winners will be announced during the National MSME Conference, which brings together key players in Nigeria’s small business ecosystem.

Organizers explained that the Save2Grow Challenge is more than just a savings drive—it is a step toward reshaping the financial mindset of small business owners, many of whom struggle with irregular income and limited access to credit. The initiative encourages participants to cultivate intentional saving practices that can serve as a foundation for growth and resilience in business operations.

By rewarding consistent savers, the programme also hopes to inspire a new generation of financially savvy entrepreneurs who can manage resources effectively, attract investors, and scale their ventures. The challenge aligns with national efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s MSME sector, which remains a critical driver of employment, innovation, and inclusive economic growth.

Interested entrepreneurs are encouraged to download the Herconomy App, create an account, and begin saving to qualify for the challenge. The organisers believe that with the right habits and incentives, more Nigerian MSMEs can achieve long-term stability and financial independence.
