Stability and Sustenance, in collaboration with Engraced Events, is set to empower student entrepreneurs across Nigeria with over N10 million in grants through its upcoming talent and skill monetization campus tour. The initiative, running from March 7 to 28, will provide university students with practical knowledge on how to turn their skills into sustainable businesses while addressing the challenges of unemployment.
Melody Fidel, founder of Stability and Sustenance and lead instructor for the tour, emphasized the urgency of equipping students with entrepreneurial skills. “It is worrisome that many parents struggle to send their children to university, yet after graduation, they still have to fend for them due to a lack of jobs. Our mission is to change this narrative by helping students build businesses while still in school,” she said.
The Stability and Sustenance platform, known for its extensive entrepreneurship coaching across Africa and the UK, will not only offer financial support but also provide expert-led training and mentorship. Students will gain firsthand insights from successful business professionals, learning strategies to monetize their talents and develop scalable enterprises.
In addition to business mentorship, the tour—branded as “Laff & Learn”—will incorporate entertainment and advocacy against social vices. Itoto Emmanuel, CEO of Engraced Events, highlighted the importance of addressing issues like cultism, drug abuse, and violence among students. “This initiative goes beyond business education. By collaborating with popular comedian Josh2Funny, we are making learning engaging while also spreading awareness on critical social issues,” Emmanuel said.
Josh2Funny, a comedian who has gained international recognition, including a feature on America’s Got Talent (AGT), will mentor students on how creative content can become a tool for financial success. He will share his journey of transforming humor into a profitable career, inspiring students to explore unconventional paths to success.
The tour will begin at the University of Port Harcourt on March 7, followed by Veritas University, Abuja (March 12), Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma (March 14), University of Nigeria, Nsukka (March 19), University of Calabar (March 26), and University of Lagos (March 28).
With a strong online presence and a growing community of young entrepreneurs, Stability and Sustenance continues to drive economic empowerment by helping African youth unlock opportunities in business. Through this initiative, thousands of students will not only receive mentorship and funding but also gain the confidence to create their own employment opportunities before graduation.
