Following a rigorous two-week virtual boot camp, the co-organizers of the Small Business Annual Grant competition, Kilsah Consulting, and MSME Africa, have announced the top ten finalists for the program.
Among the 50 ambitious and highly spirited participants, these ten small business owners impressed the judges during the first pitching round with their innovative ideas and brilliant presentations.
During the boot camp, participants received invaluable training on essential business modules, including entrepreneurial mindset and pitching, business structure and organization, financing small businesses, and effective sales strategies. Also, during the boot camp, some participants got giveaways for their active participation in each session to support their continued growth and learning.
The competition culminates in a live pitch event on Thursday, December 14, 2023, where the finalists will showcase their businesses to a panel of judges and a live audience.

The competition organizers have announced exciting prize money for the top three winners.
The overall winner goes home with a grant of one million Naira, the second-place winner will take home 700,000 Naira, and the third-place winner will receive 500,000 Naira. At the same time, each boot camp participant will receive a participation certificate.
This grant program is a significant step towards creating a sustainable environment for small businesses in Nigeria, and it is a clear indication of both organizations’ commitment to supporting the growth of the country’s economy.
