In a landmark move to support female entrepreneurship, the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) has signed an MoU with the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) to empower 10,000 women across Nigeria’s creative, agriculture, and technology sectors.

The MoU, formalized at the 2024 MSME Conference, is set to deliver essential training and business support to women entrepreneurs, marking a significant step toward inclusive growth and sustainable development. Charles Odii, SMEDAN’s Director-General, emphasized the agency’s commitment to fostering a more inclusive economy through skill-building and entrepreneurial guidance.

Announced via SMEDAN’s official social media platform, this free program aims to equip women with vital business tools, strategic resources, and growth insights to enhance their enterprises and open doors to new opportunities.

Female entrepreneurs are encouraged to take advantage of this initiative. Registration is open at (https://tny.learnwithedcpau.com/sign-up?lead=s), and SMEDAN encourages participants to share this opportunity with other women who may benefit.
