SMEDAN Empowers Young Entrepreneurs in Agriculture, Tech, and Entertainment
Share

The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) has launched a talent initiative to discover and support young Nigerians in agriculture, technology, and entertainment. This program offers aspiring entrepreneurs a platform to showcase their skills while receiving essential training and business support.

Through this initiative, participants will gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and financial guidance to help turn their ideas into profitable ventures. SMEDAN will provide expert-led training programs designed to enhance business skills, offer counseling to refine ideas, and connect participants with industry leaders for mentorship.

One of the key benefits of the initiative is its focus on capacity building, ensuring that young entrepreneurs have the knowledge and tools to navigate the business world successfully. Additionally, participants will receive guidance on financing options and pricing strategies to help them build sustainable businesses.

SMEDAN is calling on young innovators aged 18 to 35 to apply, especially those working on agricultural technology in Abuja, particularly in post-harvest loss reduction, and those in Lagos focused on entertainment. The application deadline is March 31, 2025, and interested candidates can apply online.

This initiative presents a golden opportunity for young talents to gain industry exposure, develop their entrepreneurial skills, and access the resources they need to build thriving businesses. By supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs, SMEDAN is playing a key role in driving Nigeria’s economic growth and innovation.
