SMEDAN hosts Small Business Owners on June 30 to Mark 2020 MSME Day

Small & Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) in Partnership with Leapworld Limited will on June 30, 2020 celebrate the 2020 United Nations MSME Day with small business owners as well as key experts and policy makers in the industry.

The event themed “COVID-19: The Great Lockdown and its impact on Small Business” would be hosted by Dr. Dikko Umaru Radda, DG/CEO SMEDAN and have in attendance Prof Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo, Hon. Minister, Federal Ministry of Industry Trade and Investments and Ambassador Maryam Katagum, Hon. Minister of State, Federal Ministry of Industry Trade and Investments.

The event will also feature a panel session with the CBN, SMEDAN, UNIDO, NECA, NASME and NASSI. Moderator for the day is Mrs. Ndidi Nwuneli, Managing Partner, Sahel Consulting.

Other activities lined up for the day are:

  • A documentary on strategies for MSMEs to cope with the Covid-19 pandemic
  • Testimonials from Entrepreneurs
  • Virtual Display of MSMEs Exhibitors & their Products/Services
  • Keynote addresses from the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN)and the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Industry Trade and Investments.

The event will take place at 11am, Nigerian time on Zoom webinar platform and will also be streamed live on Facebook and Youtube @leapworldgroup and @smedaninfo.                                                                                                                                                        Click HERE to register for the event.
