SMEDAN Licenses Business Development Service Providers to Boost MSMEs Across Nigeria
Share

In a strategic effort to bolster Nigeria’s small business landscape, the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) has officially inducted a new group of certified Business Development Service Providers (BDSPs). This move is aimed at ensuring that micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) receive targeted guidance to formalize their operations, explore emerging opportunities, and scale sustainably.

The newly licensed BDSPs are expected to play a pivotal role in advancing enterprise growth. SMEDAN’s Director General noted that these professionals are being equipped with the tools and credentials necessary to help small businesses not only survive but thrive amid evolving economic realities.

This nationwide licensing initiative, conducted in partnership with key stakeholders, reflects SMEDAN’s broader mission to build a dependable support structure for entrepreneurs. The agency reaffirmed its dedication to expanding this network, emphasizing that no small business should be left behind in the country’s economic transformation.
