The Business Ideation School Africa (TBIS Africa), in partnership with the Christ the Redeemer Ministry (CRM) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has concluded the 2025 Leadership Training Programme a five-day capacity-building initiative designed to equip young Africans with leadership, professional, and employability skills. TBIS Africa disclosed the development in a statement issued on Monday.
Held from 5 to 9 November 2025, the fully sponsored programme combined professional development with faith-based learning and drew over 3,500 participants, including students and National Youth Service Corps members from Nigeria and the Benin Republic. The event featured plenary sessions, governance training, daily devotionals, prayer meetings, drama presentations, praise and worship, and hands-on workshops across multiple professional tracks.
The certification courses covered areas such as Corporate Strategy, Financial Intelligence, Media Management, Business Ideation, Advertising Management, Business Networking, Marketing, and Brand Management. Participants paid only a small commitment fee, a model designed to ensure accessibility and wide participation.
Founder and Principal of TBIS Africa, Emmanuel Ikediashi, said the programme reflects the institution’s commitment to offering affordable and relevant business education to young people across the continent.
“Learning and leadership form the foundation of true growth. When paired with practical, skill-based education, they equip young people for life beyond the classroom,” he said. “By engaging industry professionals to facilitate the training, the initiative not only strengthened the learning experience but also inspired participants to apply their knowledge meaningfully in building sustainable careers and enterprises.”
The programme featured expert-led sessions delivered by professionals and thought leaders across sectors. Principal Consultant at Hattie Royale Media, Oludolapo Agbejobi, who facilitated the Media Management course, said the initiative was a timely investment in youth development. “Equipping young professionals with communication and media literacy skills is key to building a more informed, ethical, and creative generation of leaders,” she noted.
Participants described the training as practical and transformative.
“I truly enjoyed every session and learnt a lot that I am already applying in my journey as a realtor,” said Abraham Miracle.
Another participant, Ajala Boluwatife, said the programme broadened his understanding of business growth and the mindset required for success. Similarly, Esther Akinwande and Ayoba Mayowa praised the sessions as insightful, highlighting how the training deepened their knowledge of communication, media, and brand management.
The 2025 edition featured a diverse faculty of facilitators, including Oludolapo Agbejobi, Nwachukwu Macdickson, Yinlayefa Thompson, Rina Arhuere, Olajumoke Oyedele, Uche Onwuka, and Oluwatosin Olonite—reinforcing the programme’s commitment to bridging faith, leadership, and professional excellence.
