Tech Provider, Varsity Partner on Software Engineering
Share

GOMYCODE, a technology education provider, has partnered with Woolf University, a global higher education institution, to offer a Master of Science in Computer Science with a specialization in Software Engineering. The collaboration aims to equip Nigerian tech professionals with advanced technical expertise, positioning them for international career opportunities.

The fully online programme is designed for flexibility, allowing working professionals to pursue higher education without interrupting their careers. It integrates Woolf University’s rigorous academic framework with GOMYCODE’s industry-focused training, ensuring graduates develop both theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills essential for today’s evolving tech landscape.

GOMYCODE’s co-founder, Yahya Bouhlel, described the initiative as a groundbreaking opportunity for Nigerian professionals seeking to upskill in an increasingly competitive global market. He emphasized that earning an internationally accredited master’s degree would provide a strong foundation for career growth, whether in Nigeria or abroad.

The partnership comes at a time when more Nigerian tech professionals are securing high-paying remote jobs and exploring global opportunities. With international recognition, graduates of the programme will be well-positioned for roles in top tech firms, startups, and multinational companies.

GOMYCODE Nigeria’s country head, Babatunde Olaifa, stressed the significance of offering a globally accredited qualification in Nigeria’s growing tech ecosystem. He noted that by providing access to world-class education, the programme would empower professionals to compete effectively on the global stage.

Woolf University’s Head of Strategy and Growth, Naveen Jangir, reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to democratizing higher education. He explained that through this partnership, Nigerian learners now have access to a prestigious degree that enhances their career prospects worldwide, bridging the gap between local talent and global opportunities.

As Nigeria’s tech industry continues to expand, initiatives like this are expected to play a crucial role in developing a skilled workforce capable of driving innovation and economic growth.
