The British Council and Prince’s Trust International, in partnership with Nerdzfactory Company, have introduced The Youth Sustainable Enterprise Challenge Programme in Lagos, targeting young individuals aged 18-35.
This initiative aims to equip participants with practical skills, knowledge, and confidence necessary for entrepreneurship and employability in today’s business world.
Commenced in December 2023, the programme has onboarded and trained 60 participants since February 5, 2024, with activities including business ideation, mentoring, skills development, and the opportunity to pitch for seed funding. Ade Olowojoba, Founding Partner of Nerdzfactory Company, emphasized the transformative potential of the programme, highlighting the synergy between partners in driving positive change.
The initiative reflects the commitment of all stakeholders to empower participants and foster innovation, marking a significant step towards nurturing the next generation of business leaders in Lagos and beyond.
