Union Bank Sponsors Fate Foundation to empower SMEs in Nigeria

In a  show of support for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), the Union Bank of Nigeria proudly sponsored the 8th edition of the Fate Foundation Alumni Conference. The conference, titled “Strategically Positioning Your Business: Opportunities in the New Dispensation,” was a dynamic gathering aimed at enhancing prospects for SMEs in Nigeria. 

This collaboration between Union Bank and Fate Foundation underscores their shared mission of nurturing SMEs and propelling the success of small business owners across the nation.

Fate Foundation, a Non-Profit Organization, is dedicated to empowering budding and emerging Nigerian entrepreneurs in establishing, expanding, and scaling their ventures. With a focus on creating an enabling environment, Fate Foundation has positively impacted over 7,500 graduates through various Medium Scale and Medium Enterprise training programs.

Union Bank has consistently played a pivotal role in equipping entrepreneurs with the tools they need to build thriving and sustainable businesses. 

Through a range of SME-focused products, accessible loans with favorable terms, and flexible repayment options, the bank has empowered countless individuals to channel their entrepreneurial zeal into impactful ventures that drive positive change in their communities.

The recognition garnered by Union Bank, such as the 2023 Global Finance Award for Best SME Bank of the Year, is a testament to the bank’s steadfast dedication to the SME sector and the small business landscape in Nigeria. This award further underscores Union Bank’s commitment to fostering the growth and prosperity of SMEs across the nation.
