Verve International, Africa’s domestic payments card scheme, has announced a groundbreaking partnership with AliExpress, one of the world’s largest online retail platforms. Verve cards are now accepted on AliExpress, allowing millions of Verve cardholders and merchants worldwide to access the platform’s vast range of products, including fashion, electronics, home goods, beauty items, and more.

This collaboration boosts Verve’s global presence, providing secure and seamless payment solutions for cross-border transactions. It also strengthens Verve’s commitment to offering inclusive, innovative, and secure digital payment options, empowering both individuals and businesses to participate in global digital commerce.

Vincent Ogbunude, Managing Director of Verve International, expressed excitement about the partnership, saying, “We are thrilled to announce that Verve is now accepted on AliExpress, a globally recognized e-commerce leader. This marks a key milestone in our global expansion journey and reinforces our commitment to providing cardholders with greater opportunities in the digital economy. The addition of AliExpress is just the beginning, and we are eager to continue innovating and expanding to deliver even more value to Verve cardholders in Nigeria and beyond.”

Verve’s global network continues to grow with partnerships with major brands like Google, YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Facebook, Uber, and Spotify. These collaborations allow Verve cardholders to easily pay for subscriptions in Naira, solidifying Verve’s position as a trusted leader in digital payments across various industries.

With the inclusion of AliExpress, Verve cardholders can now shop and pay effortlessly for a wide range of products. To shop on AliExpress, users simply sign in, select items, add their Verve card details, and complete their purchase with ease, opening up new opportunities for consumers to access global markets.
