Walure Capital, a technology-focused company engaged in tech training, software development, talent outsourcing, and media resources, celebrated its fourth-year milestone with the “Walure Tech Connect ’23” event. The two-day gathering brought together SME owners, experts in SME acceleration, HR professionals, tech innovators, and experts to explore sustainable strategies for scaling SME businesses.

During the event, Managing Director Mr. Samuel Adeleye emphasized the pivotal role of technology in business growth. He advised SME owners to embrace sustainable strategies and leverage technology for operational efficiency in order to scale their businesses. Mr. Adeleye highlighted the benefits of the technology-driven product, IPOS, which offers SMEs and retail businesses enhanced operational efficiency and scalable growth opportunities.

IPOS, developed by Smartware, is a bookkeeping and inventory management solution tailored for SMEs and retail businesses. It addresses common challenges in bookkeeping and inventory management, providing features such as stock level tracking, automatic tax application, product tracking, invoice generation, and cloud-based data storage. Adeleye noted that data stored in IPOS can be used by SME owners to secure grants and loans from financial institutions.

General Manager, Mr. Obafemi Okubanjo, announced Walure Capital’s plan to support 200 SMEs with ₦100,000 each, underscoring the company’s commitment to the survival and success of retail and small business owners in Nigeria. He also highlighted the Walure Academy, an initiative that nurtures and trains tech talents for both local and global opportunities.

Furthermore, Okubanjo shared that Walure Capital recently donated a Tech Lab to Community Primary School in Magodo, Lagos, as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility initiatives. He emphasized Walure Capital’s ongoing dedication to supporting businesses, talents, and society at large.

Looking ahead, Walure Capital announced the upcoming “Walure Fit” fitness initiative scheduled for November 18, 2023. This initiative aims to promote health, wellness, fitness, and lifestyle within the tech ecosystem, providing a platform for networking and collaboration among tech professionals and experts in the corporate world.
