Waterlight Save Initiative (WSI), a nonprofit committed to poverty reduction and community support, recently organized a significant outreach event for the homeless at Tent City in Atlanta. The initiative, led by WSI Founder and President Dr. Prince Ero Ibhafidon, delivered meals, hygiene kits, and essential supplies to hundreds of people facing homelessness.
Dr. Ibhafidon underscored the impact of community-driven support, stating, “Today’s event underscores the power of community compassion. Addressing homelessness requires a range of solutions, and at Waterlight Save Initiative, we aim to meet these needs both immediately and through long-term strategies.”
With the support of WSI volunteers and local collaborators, the event distributed blankets, clothing, hygiene products, and meals, reflecting WSI’s commitment to immediate relief and resilience-building for vulnerable populations.
WSI aligns its mission with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those aimed at poverty alleviation and enhancing community well-being. By partnering with organizations like USAID and the United Nations, WSI extends its outreach beyond U.S. borders, promoting sustainable development and community resilience on a global scale.
Through targeted programs addressing clean water access, hygiene, and poverty relief, WSI is making a significant impact in the U.S. and underserved communities worldwide.
