Zoho Launches AI-Powered Features in Zoho Creator to make App Development faster For Businesses
Share

Zoho Corporation has unveiled a suite of new AI-powered capabilities within its low-code development platform, Zoho Creator, aimed at making application development faster, more accessible, and more intelligent for businesses of all sizes.

At the heart of the upgrade is CoCreator, a powerful AI assistant that enables users to build applications using natural language (voice or text), flow diagrams, or existing business documents. Powered by Zia, Zoho’s in-house AI engine, CoCreator is designed to drastically shorten go-to-market timelines and open up app development to non-technical users, all without additional subscription costs.

“Since we introduced Creator in 2006, our mission has been to make app development simpler and faster, without compromising on functionality,” said Kehinde Ogundare, Country Head, Zoho Nigeria.
“AI now takes us to the next level, shortening the time from an idea to an app. Today’s announcement significantly raises the baseline on speed of quality app creation with deep capabilities, without adding costs.”

  • Idea-to-App Generation: Allows users to input text or voice prompts, system documentation, or flow diagrams to automatically generate functional applications with contextual integrations, automation workflows, dashboards, and access controls.
  • Contextual Component Generation: Enables Zia to offer prompt-based form creation, suggest relevant fields, and even generate and annotate code blocks for better maintainability.
  • AI-Driven Data Transformation: Empowers users to convert unstructured data from files and databases into structured applications, using AI-powered cleansing and modeling tools.
  • AI Skills (Early Access): Lets businesses integrate domain-specific AI functionality, including natural language instructions and complex task automation, with broader availability expected in June 2025.
  • Voice-Based Mobile App Generation: Build applications directly from voice commands on mobile devices.
  • Custom AI Models: Supports use cases such as OCR (Optical Character Recognition), predictive analytics, and object detection using enterprise-grade models.
  • Document Intelligence: Users can upload and extract relevant data from documents for easy in-app querying and processing.

Zoho emphasized that its complete control over its technology stack ensures deeper contextual AI integration and enhanced security, setting it apart from competitors. These capabilities offer users smarter, faster, and more intuitive ways to create and manage business applications without relying on expensive or complex development processes.

This upgrade reinforces Zoho’s long-standing vision of democratizing technology and making enterprise-level tools available to a wider spectrum of users — from startup founders to large-scale enterprises.
