Nigeria’s revenue in the lucrative fashion industry is set to hit $1.70 billion in 2023. Its ever-rising prowess is gaining global prominence thanks to events and shows such as the Lagos Fashion Week organized to give opportunities to locally and internationally renowned Nigerian Fashion Designers to display their ingenuities.

We turn to inform you of other fashion shows in Nigeria, that you should look forward to. Nigerian Entrepreneur, Fashionpreneur, Fashion Designer, or Enthusiast, this post is for you.

Epic Show 2023 – Fashions Finest Africa

Dubbed “The Biggest Fashion Event for New and Emerging Fashion Entrepreneurs,” Fashions Finest Africa aims to showcase Africa’s best talents in the fashion industry (fashion designers, Photographers, Make-up Artists, Hairstylists, Fashion Stylists and models).

Epic Show typically hosts fashion entrepreneurs, designers, models, and fashion enthusiasts. Fashion Finest Africa also organizes activities including conferences, Exhibitions, Epic Shows, Awards, and Fashion Rave.

2. Lagos Fashion Fair

Lagos Fashion Fair creates an enabling platform where creative Nigerian designers and fashion entrepreneurs connect with international designers to showcase the beauty and creativity of both worlds through their designs and innovations.

Lagos Fashion Fair seeks to celebrate Nigerian entrepreneurs who have mastered the art of fashion by using it to make bold statements and create more versatility in their designs and brands.

3. African Bridal Fashion Week

African Bridal Fashion Week (ABFW) has a knack for showcasing bridal designs made with African fabric to illustrate African cultures.

The event hosts creators and lovers of traditional bridal fashion and accessories from all over the continent.

4. Arts Meets Fashion Abuja

Arts Meets Fashion (AMF) is an exclusive fashion lifestyle event where both ‘Art & Fashion’ are displayed.

The event, presented by AFWA and Tin City Fashion Week is a combination of Nigerian Arts, entertainment and fashion.

The exclusive fashion lifestyle event is a platform for artists, sculptures, fashion designers, and art experts locally and globally, to participate in a diversified and dynamic creative event for trends in modern Nigerian art and fashion.

The event is set to be hosted by the National Gallery of Art (NGA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Handicraft Promotion and under the subsidiary of Africa Fashion Museum.

The dress code for this event is Artistic Vibe.

5. Source Textile & Apparel West Africa

Dubbed ”West Africa’s largest and most effective textile and fashion exhibition,” the Source Textile & Apparel West Africa is set to promote West Africa’s best apparel, accessories and textiles.

If you are an industry professional specifying in sourcing finished or intermediate products, then this show is for you.

6. TOZALI Africa Fashion & Cultural Week Abuja

Tozali Africa Fashion and Cultural Week Abuja is an event with the mission to support and amplify the awareness of African women and girls in internal displacement.

The event is an initiative of the Tozali Girl Child & Women Foundation, owned by Maimuna Abubakar, whose mission is to help women and girls resist social vices during their displacement journey, such as physical and sexual violence, kidnappings, early and forced marriages, and intimate partner violence.

The Tozali Television and Magazine is set to cover the event.
