Three month moratorium approved for MSMEs in Lagos

To cushion the effect of the Coronavirus pandemic on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Lagos, loan Beneficiaries from the The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund can now enjoy a three month moratorium.

This was disclosed by the State Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Cooperative,Dr Lola Akande at the year 2020 ministerial briefing to commemorate the one year anniversary of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration.

Akande Said “The moratorium will serve as a palliative, encourage entrepreneurship and sustain the confidence of small scale industrialists and MSME operators in the state,

She restated the  ministry’s commitment to  supporting all  businesses and business owners in the state and providing enabling environment that will help them thrive.

In the same vein, Akande enjoined business owners to Akande not to relent in their support for the state government so the government can fully deliver the dividends of democracy to all and sundry.
