HER-HEALTH Initiative 2026 Research Fellowship, a fully remote, one-year leadership and research development programme designed to equip young women with the skills, confidence, and exposure needed to lead in health, public policy, innovation, and scientific research.

About the HER-HEALTH Research Fellowship
The HER-HEALTH Research Fellowship is a structured, high-impact learning programme running from January to December 2026. It combines research training, leadership development, and mentorship to prepare fellows for careers in health research and policy.
Fellows will participate in a curated learning journey focused on health and research, engage in collaborative research labs with peers, attend expert-led design workshops, and benefit from continuous mentorship and peer learning. The programme is delivered fully online, making it accessible to participants across Nigeria and beyond.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants for the HER-HEALTH Research Fellowship must meet the following criteria:
• Be a woman aged between 18 and 30
• Have an interest in public health, medical research, health innovation, policy, community leadership, or social impact
• Be a student, recent graduate, or early-career professional
• Applicants with or without prior research experience are welcome
• Backgrounds may include health sciences, biology, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, psychology, sociology, public policy, or related fields
• Open to applicants from Nigeria and other eligible countries
