Call for Applications: HiiL Wa Justice Hackathon 2022

Applications are open for the HiiL WA Justice Hackathon 2022. The justice hackathon with the theme – Justice For the User, By the User (Justice FUBU) will focus on identifying unique innovations that are solving justice issues around:

> Family disputes e.g abuse, divorce, land, emergency response services.

> Money related justice issues. e.g fraud, theft associated with lending & borrowing money, financial services (payments, savings, wallets) for the unbanked and underbanked.

> Through this hackathon, HiiL hopes to discover innovative solutions that will grow into sustainable and scalable game-changing startups.

Prizes

The prizes to be won are:

1st position: 1,000 EUR

2nd position: 700 EUR

3rd position : 500 EUR

This also includes an automatic spot at the HiiL WA Justice Entrepreneurship School, and access to the community & support of other justice innovators.

This opportunity is open to: 

✓ Law students

✓ Lawyers

✓ Entrepreneurs

✓ Technology Enthusiasts

✓ Social justice enthusiasts – anyone interested in creating solutions that help everyday people prevent or resolve their most pressing justice needs.

Applicants must be resident in Nigeria to apply.

Application Deadline is September 5, 2022.

Late applications will not be considered.
