Cornerstone International Foundation is set to hold its second edition of its annual conference tagged “’Innovation 2.0’’ on Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Folorunsho and Alakija Law faculty building, Ajayi Crowther University.
The Conference tagged “Activating youth potentials for global impact” organized by cornerstone international foundation in conjunction with Ajayi Crowther University Student’s Assembly(ACUSA) is aimed at inspiring young minds to tap into their creative ability, discover themselves and be better versions of themselves.
The speakers for the event include; Special Adviser to Oyo State Governor (Ministry of Youth and Sport) Hon (Amb) Kazeem Bolarinwa, The youngest political appointee in Nigeria and ECOWAS Youth Ambassador, Amb Emmanuel Agida, Founder of Agrotronics, Isreal Alabi, CEO of DOM clothing, Miracle Dominic and an award winning writer and book editor in person of Elizabeth Samuel.
In his statement, sent to MSME Africa, the convener and founder of Cornerstone International Foundation, Ogunjide John said “the future of any society lies in its teeming youths and a society that has lost touch with its innovative(creative)side is an imprisoned society, hence the need for a conference of this nature that will open the hearts and doors to the mind of the participants, make them recognize their uniqueness and identity, bring out the hidden creative part of the participants and connect them to their passions’’.
In addition, Ogunjide stated that there will be a line-up of activities that center on innovation and creativity which includes pitching, personal development and branding, among others.
“It is believed that after the conference, vibrant and visionary youths who will change the course of history through their innovative and creative abilities would be birthed” Ogunjide added.
The statement also reads that admission into the one-day event is free with the organizers looking forward to a physical attendance of more than 500 people with the event to be streamed live on the foundation Facebook page.
